Dr. Casey Leavitt has been practicing dentistry in Pocatello since 2002. After graduating from Brigham Young University, he and his wife moved to Richmond, Virginia to attend dental school at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. After graduation, he spent a year in the Advanced Education in Dentistry Residency Program at Idaho State University. There he gained cutting-edge knowledge and experience with complex and advanced dental procedures. Dr. Leavitt has served as a part-time clinical instructor at the same residency program for seven years. He has also had the privilege of providing weeks of donated dental care to the people of Mexico and Peru on service trips.
Dr. Casey Leavitt is one of very few IV sedation-certified dentists in the Pocatello area, and he serves as an office evaluator for the State Board of Dentistry for approval of providers seeking certification. He loves every aspect of dentistry, and along with the skills acquired from advanced training and years of experience, Dr. Leavitt practices state-of-the-art dentistry with the latest technology to ensure patients receive the greatest level of care available.
Dr. Casey Leavitt attends the best continuing education courses, which allows him to keep up with the latest tools and technology available in dentistry. He loves serving his patients and developing lasting relationships with each individual. He has also had the privilege of providing donated dental care to the people of Peru and Mexico, where he served a mission for his church.
He and Shaunna, his wife, have four kids – two boys and two girls. They have set strong roots in Pocatello, and they are proud to call it their home. They enjoy the snow and water skiing, golf, hiking, and biking as a family.
